నవంబర్‌లో 37 లక్షల వాట్సాప్ ఖాతాలపై నిషేధం
న్యూఢిల్లీ: ఇన్స్టంట్ మెసేజింగ్ ప్లాట్‌ఫాం వాట్సాప్ నవంబర్‌లో దేశీయంగా 37.16 లక్షల ఖాతాలను నిషేధించింది. అంతక్రితం నెలతో పోలిస్తే ఇది 60 శాతం అధికం. అక్టోబర్‌లో 23.24 లక్షల ఖాతాలను నిషేధించింది. తాజాగా నవంబర్‌లో మిగతావారి నుంచి ఫిర్యాదులు రావడానికి ముందే క్రియాశీలకంగా వ్యవహరించి బ్యాన్‌ చేసిన ఖాతాల సంఖ్య 9.9 లక్షలుగా ఉందని ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్‌ టెక్నాలజీ నిబంధనల ప్రకారం తమ నెలవారీ నివేదికలో వాట్సాప్ తెలిపింది. విద్వేషపూరిత, తప్పుడు సమాచార వ్యాప్తికి వేదికలుగా మారుతున్నాయంటూ సోషల్‌ మీడియా ప్లాట్‌ఫాంలపై ఆరోపణలు వస్తుండటంతో కేంద్రం గతేడాది కఠినతర ఐటీ నిబంధనలను అమల్లోకి తెచ్చింది. వీటి ప్రకారం 50 లక్షల పైగా యూజర్లు ఉన్న బడా డిజిటల్‌ ప్లాట్‌ఫాంలు తాము నిబంధనలను పాటిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపేలా ప్రతి నెలా నివేదికను ప్రచురించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. తమకు వచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదులు, తాము తీసుకున్న చర్యల గురించి వెల్లడించాలి. దీనికి అనుగుణంగానే వాట్సాప్ తాజా నివేదికను రూపొందించింది. -
