సెన్సార్ బోర్డ్ నుంచి ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న బాలీవుడ్ థ్రిల్లర్ ఉడ్తా పంజాబ్కు బాలీవుడ్ సినీ ప్రముఖుల మద్దతు లభిస్తోంది. సినిమాల విషయంలో సెన్సార్ బోర్డ్ తీరు ఇప్పటికే చాలా సార్లు వివాదాస్పదం కాగా తాజాగా ఉడ్తా పంజాబ్ విషయంలో ఈ వివాదం మరింత ముదురుతోంది. ఒక సినిమాకు ఏకంగా 89 కట్స్ చెప్పటంపై చిత్రయూనిట్ న్యాయపోరాటానికి సిద్దమవుతున్నారు.
 
 ఉడ్తా పంజాబ్ యూనిట్కు మద్దతు తెలుపుతూ పలువురు బాలీవుడ్ ప్రముఖులు ట్వీట్ చేశారు.  ఉడ్తాపంజాబ్ ప్రస్తుతం సమాజంలో జరుగుతున్న విషయాలనే ప్రస్థావించింది. సెన్సార్ మూలంగా నిజాలు మరుగున పడతాయన్నారు కరణ్ జోహార్. నిజాలు చెపితే రాష్ట్ర పరువుపోతుందా.?, ఉడ్తాపంజాబ్ పట్ల సెన్సార్ తీరు నాకు కోపం తెప్పిస్తోంది అంటూ హన్సాల్ మెహతా ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
 
 వీళ్లతో పాటు మహేష్ భట్, నిఖిల్ అద్వానీ, సోహా అలీఖాన్, నిరంజన్ అయ్యంగార్ లాంటి బాలీవుడ్ ప్రముఖుల గొంతు కలిపారు. తమ సినిమాకు మద్దతుగా ఇంత మంది బాలీవుడ్ సెలబ్రిటీలు కలిసి రావటంపై హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేసిన షాహిద్ కపూర్, అందరికీ కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపాడు. షాహిద్ కపూర్, అలియా భట్, కరినా కపూర్ లు లీడ్ రోల్స్లో తెరకెక్కిన ఉడ్తాపంజాబ్ సినిమాకు అభిషేక్ చౌబే దర్శకుడు. పంజాబ్ లోని డ్రగ్ మాఫియా నేపథ్యంలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమా జూన్ 17న రిలీజ్ కావాల్సి ఉంది.
