Tokyo Paralympics 2021:పారా ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో భారత్‌కు స్వర్ణ పతకం

టోక్యో: టోక్యో వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న పారా ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో భారత్‌కు తొలి స్వర్ణ పతకం లభించింది. మహిళల షూటింగ్‌ 10 మీటర్ల విభాగంలో విజయం సాధించి అవని లేఖారా గోల్డ్‌ మెడల్‌ గోల్డ్‌ మెడల్‌ కైవసం చేసుకుంది. పారా ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో గోల్డ్‌ మెడల్‌ సాధించిన తొలి భారత మహిళగా అవని లేఖారా  చరిత్ర సృష్టించింది. దీంతో భారత్‌ ఖాతాలో నాలుగు పతకాలు చేరాయి.

పారా ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో బంగారు పతకం సాధించిన అవని లేఖారాను ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ అభినందించారు. నిజంగా ఇది భారత క్రీడా రంగానికి స్పెషల్‌ మూమెంట్‌ అని  మోదీ ట్వీట్‌ చేశారు.
