►మిజోరం అసెం‍బ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు సంబంధించి నేడు కౌంటింగ్‌ జరుగనుంది. కౌంటింగ్‌ ప్రక్రియ కాసేపట్లో ప్రారంభం కానుంది. 

►40 నియోజక వర్గాలున్న మిజోరంలో అధికార ఎంఎన్‌ఎఫ్‌(మిజో నేషనల్‌ ఫ్రంట్‌), జడ్‌పీఎం (జొరం పీపుల్స్‌ మూవ్‌మెంట్‌), కాంగ్రెస్‌ మధ్య త్రిముఖ పోటీ నెలకొంది.

►ఓట్ల లెక్కింపు కోసం మొత్తం 13 కౌంటింగ్‌ కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశామని మిజోరం రాష్ట్ర అదనపు ముఖ్య ఎన్నికల అధికారి హెచ్‌.లియాంజెలా తెలిపారు.

►మిజోరంలో మొత్తం 8.57 లక్షల మంది ఓటర్లు ఉండగా, వారిలో 80 శాతం మంది ఓటుహక్కు వినియోగించుకున్నారు.

►174 మంది అభ్యర్థులు బరిలో నిలిచారు. 2018 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో ఎంఎన్‌ఎఫ్‌ 26, జడ్‌పీఎం 8, కాంగ్రెస్‌ 5, బీజేపీ ఒక స్థానం గెలుపొందాయి.
