సెల్‌ఫోన్‌లో వాయిస్తో బైక్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్
మచిలీపట్నంటౌన్‌: మచిలీపట్నంకు చెందిన యువకుడు కొంగొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలు చేస్తున్నాడు. దాదాపు 20 నూతన సాంకేతిక ఆవిష్కరణలు చేసి అద్భుతాలు సృష్టిస్తున్నాడు. బాల్యం నుంచి సైన్స్‌ పట్ల ఆసక్తి ఉన్న రాసంశెట్టి ప్రణయ్‌ విజయవాడ సిద్ధార్ధ కళాశాలలో సీఈసీ బ్రాంచ్‌లో నెల రోజుల కిందటే బీటెక్‌ పూర్తి చేశాడు. రెండు రోజుల క్రితం సెల్‌ఫోన్‌తో వాయిస్ ద్వారా బైక్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్ విధానాన్ని కనుగొన్నాడు. మచిలీపట్నం నగరపాలక సంస్థ 9వ డివిజన్‌ కార్పొరేటర్‌ రాసంశెట్టి వాణిశ్రీ, చంటి దంపతుల కుమారుడే ఈ ప్రణయ్‌. సెల్‌ఫోన్‌లో వాయిస్ వినిపించటంతో బైక్‌ సెల్ప్‌, కిక్‌, తాళం లేకుండానే ఆన్ అయ్యేలా రెండు రోజుల క్రితం తన బైక్‌కు అమర్చాడు. బ్లూటూత్ వాయిస్ ద్వారా బైక్‌ సీటు కింద అమర్చిన ఆర్డినోబోర్డ్‌ పని చేయటం ద్వారా ఇది పనిచేసేలా రూపొందించాడు. అతని బండి పేరు లక్కీ కావటంతో అన్‌లాక్‌ లక్కీ అంటే మీటరు ఆనయ్యేలా, స్టార్ట్‌ లక్కీ అంటే స్టార్ట్‌ అయ్యేలా, స్టాప్‌ అంటే ఆగేలా దీనిని రూపొందించాడు. 15 నుంచి 20 మీటర్ల దూరం నుంచి బండిని ఆపరేటింగ్ చేసినా ఇది పనిచేస్తోంది. వెయ్యి రూపాయల ఖర్చుతో దీనిని తయారు చేశాడు. తక్కువ ఖర్చుతో ఎక్కువ ఫలితాలను ఇచ్చే పలు ఆవిష్కరణలకు ప్రణయ్‌ ప్రయత్నిస్తూ ఫలితాలను సాధిస్తున్నాడు. నూతన ఆవిష్కరణలు చేస్తున్న ప్రణయ్‌ను మాజీ మంత్రి, ఎమ్మెల్యే పేర్ని వెంకట్రామయ్య (నాని) అభినందించారు. ఆవిష్కరణలు ఇవే.... ► ప్రణయ్‌ తాతయ్య కమ్మిలి మాధవరావు వృద్ధాప్యంతో ఉండటంతో టీవీ, ప్యాన్‌, లైట్ల స్విచ్‌లు వేసేందుకు వెళ్లటం ఇబ్బందిగా ఉండటంతో ఆయన కోర్కె మేరకు వీటిని రిమోట్‌, ఫోన్ వాయిస్ ద్వారా కంట్రోల్‌ చేసేలా తయారుచేశాడు. దీనిని మాధవరావు గత ఏడాదిగా వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. ► 2022 ఆగస్టులో ఉత్తరాఖండ్‌లో జరిగిన స్మార్ట్ ఇండియా హ్యాక్‌థాన్‌ పోటీల్లో ప్రణయ్‌ నేతృత్వం వహించిన ప్రాజెక్టు జాతీయస్థాయిలో ప్రథమస్థానాన్ని సాధించి లక్ష రూపాయల బహుమతి అందుకోవటం జరిగింది. బ్లూ వాయిస్ సీఎన్‌సీ మిషన్‌ రైటింగ్‌ అనే ప్రాజెక్టుకు ఈ బహుమతి వచ్చింది. ఈ మిషన్‌ వల్ల రాయడానికి వీలు లేని దివ్యాంగులు రాతపరీక్షకు హాజరైతే వేరే వ్యక్తులు అవసరం లేకుండా ఈ మిషన్‌ వాయిస్ ద్వారా పరీక్ష రాస్తుంది. జాతీయస్థాయిలో జరిగిన ఈ పోటీల్లో 150 ప్రదర్శనలు రాగా ప్రణయ్‌ బృందం ప్రదర్శన జాతీయస్థాయిలో మొదటి బహుమతి గెలుచుకుంది. ► ప్రణయ్‌ ఇంట్లోని ఓవర్‌హెడ్‌ ట్యాంక్‌కు నీటి సరఫరాకు మోటారు నిర్వహణ చేసేందుకు మూడేళ్ల క్రితమే సెన్సార్ల ద్వారా పని చేసే విధానాన్ని వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. దీని ద్వారా వాటర్‌ ట్యాంకులో నీరు ఖాళీ అయినప్పుడు మోటార్‌ ఆనవ్వటం, ట్యాంకు నీటితో నిండగానే మోటారు ఆగిపోవటం జరుగుతోంది. ► ఆటోమేటిక్‌ బాత్‌రూమ్‌ లైట్ విధానంతో బాత్‌రూమ్‌లో అడుగుపెట్టగానే లైట్ వెలగటం, బయటకు రాగానే లైట్ ఆగేలా ప్రణయ్‌ ఏర్పాటు చేశాడు. అలాగే స్ట్రీట్‌ లైట్లు చీకటి పడగానే వెలగటం, వెలుతురు రాగానే ఆగిపోవటం వంటి విధానాన్ని రూపొందించాడు. దీంతో పాటు వైఫై కార్‌, వాయిస్ కంట్రోల్‌ కార్‌, అబ్‌స్టాకిల్‌ అవాయిడింగ్‌ రోబోట్‌, లైట్ డిపెన్‌డెంట్‌ రిజిష్టర్‌ తదితర ఆవిష్కరణలను చేశాడు. రైటింగ్‌ మిషన్‌ అందించాలనే లక్ష్యం రాయలేని వికలాంగులకు బ్లూ వాయిస్ సీఎన్‌సీ రైటింగ్‌ మిషన్‌ను చేరువ చేయాలనే లక్ష్యంతో పని చేస్తున్నాను. రానున్న రోజుల్లో పాఠశాలల్లో, కళాశాలలో చదివి రాయలేని వికలాంగులకు ప్రభుత్వ సాయంతో మిషన్‌ను అందించాలని కృషి చేస్తున్నాను. మరిన్ని నూతన ఆవిష్కరణలతో ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపడేలా పని చేయాలన్నదే నా కోరిక. తల్లిదండ్రుల ప్రోత్సాహంతో దాదాపు 20 నూతన సాంకేతిక ఆవిష్కరణలు చేశాను. – రాసంశెట్టి ప్రణయ్‌, మచిలీపట్నం -
భరోస్‌, డేటా భద్రతకు ఓఎస్! భారత్‌ విప్లవాత్మక ముందడుగు
ప్రపంచమంతటా కంప్యూటర్లు, మొబైల్ ఫోన్లు విలాసాలు కాదు.. నిత్యావసరాలుగా మారిపోయాయి. మన దేశం కూడా అందుకు మినహాయింపు కాదు. దాదాపు అన్ని రంగాల్లో కంప్యూటర్లు, ల్యాప్‌టాప్‌ల వాడకం తప్పనిసరిగా మారింది. ఇక ఫోన్ల గురించి చెప్పాల్సిన పనిలేదు. ధనవంతుల నుంచి సామాన్యుల దాకా అందరి చేతుల్లోనూ దర్శనమిస్తున్నాయి. కంప్యూటర్లు, ఫోన్లు పని చేయాలంటే అందులో ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ (ఓఎస్) కచ్చితంగా ఉండాలి. ఇలాంటి ఓఎస్ కోసం మనం ఇన్నాళ్లూ విదేశాలపైనే ఆధారపడుతున్నాం. ఓఎస్‌ను దేశీయంగా మనమే తయారు చేసుకోలేమా? అన్న ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానమే ‘భరోస్‌’. డిజిటల్‌ ఇండియా కలను సాకారం చేసే దిశగా ఫోన్లలో ఉపయోగపడే ఓఎస్‌ను ఇండియన్‌ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ టెక్నాలజీ(ఐఐటీ)–మద్రాస్‌ అభివృద్ధి చేసింది. కేంద్ర మంత్రులు ధర్మేంద్ర ప్రధాన్, అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్‌ స్వయంగా పరీక్షించారు. భరోస్‌ పరీక్ష విజయవంతమైందని ప్రకటించారు. ఈ ఓఎస్ అభివృద్ధి ప్రక్రియలో భాగస్వాములైన వారిని అభినందించారు. ఏమిటీ భరోస్‌? ► విదేశీ ఓఎస్‌పై ఆధారపడడాన్ని తగ్గించుకోవడం, స్థానికంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసిన టెక్నాలజీ వాడకాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడాన్ని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా నిర్దేశించుకుంది. ► ఇందుకోసం భరోస్‌ పేరిట దేశీయ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ అభివృద్ధికి నిధులు సమకూర్చింది. ► ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా గూగుల్ ఆండ్రాయిడ్, ఆపిల్ ఐఓఎస్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్స్‌ బాగా ప్రాచుర్యంలో ఉన్నాయి. ఈ ఓఎస్‌లతో డిఫాల్ట్‌ యాప్‌లు, గూగుల్ సర్వీసులు తప్పనిసరిగా వస్తాయి. వాటిలో చాలావరకు మనకు అవసరం లేనివే ఉంటాయి. అవి ఏ మేరకు భద్రమో తెలియదు. ► భరోస్‌ ఓఎస్ వీటి కంటే కొంత భిన్నమనే చెప్పాలి. ఇదొక ఉచిత, ఓపెన్–సోర్స్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్. ఇది నో డిఫాల్ట్‌ యాప్స్‌(ఎన్‌డీఏ)తో వస్తుంది. అంటే భరోస్‌ ఓఎస్‌ను ఇన్స్టాల్ చేసుకున్న ఫోన్‌లో ఎలాంటి యాప్‌లు కనిపించవు. ► గూగుల్ ఆండ్రాయిడ్ వెర్షన్లతో క్రోమ్, జీమెయిల్, గూగుల్ సెర్చ్, యూట్యూబ్, మ్యాప్స్‌ వంటివి డిఫాల్ట్‌గా వస్తుండడం తెలిసిందే. ► డిఫాల్ట్‌గా వచ్చే యాప్‌లతో మోసాలకు గురవుతుండడం వినియోగదారులకు అనుభవమే. అందుకే భరోస్‌ ఓఎస్ ఉన్న ఫోన్లలో అవసరమైన యాప్‌లను ప్రైవేట్‌ యాప్‌ స్టోర్ సర్వీసెస్‌(పాస్‌) నుంచి డౌన్‌లోడ్‌ చేసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ► ‘పాస్‌’లో బాగా నమ్మకమైన, ప్రభుత్వ అనుమతి ఉన్న, అన్ని రకాల భద్రత, గోప్యత ప్రమాణాలు కలిగిన యాప్‌లు మాత్రమే ఉంటాయి. దీనివల్ల ఫోన్లలోని డేటా చోరీకి గురవుతుందన్న ఆందోళన ఉండదు. ► స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్ల కంపెనీలకు ఈ ఓఎస్‌ను ఎలా అందజేస్తారు? ప్రజలకు ఎప్పటి నుంచి అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొస్తారు? రెగ్యులర్‌ స్మార్ట్ఫోన్ వినియోగదారులందరికీ ఇస్తారా? లేదా? అనేదానిపై ఐఐటీ–మద్రాస్‌ ఇంకా ఎలాంటి ప్రకటన చేయలేదు. ఎవరు వాడుతున్నారు? ► కఠినమైన భద్రత, గోప్య త అవసరాలు కలిగిన కొన్ని సంస్థలు ప్రస్తుతం భరోస్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌ను పరీక్షిస్తున్నాయి. ► రహస్య సమాచారాన్ని ఇచ్చిపుచ్చుకొనే ప్రభుత్వ కంపెనీలు ఈ ఓఎస్‌ను వాడుతున్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఎందుకీ ఓఎస్? ► గూగుల్ మొబైల్ ఓఎస్ ఆండ్రాయిడ్‌పై కేంద్ర కార్పొరేట్‌ వ్యవహారాల శాఖకు చెందిన కాంపిటీషన్‌ కమిషన్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా(సీసీఐ) గతంలో అభ్యంతరాలు వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ► ఆండ్రాయిడ్‌తో డిఫాల్ట్‌గా వస్తున్న కొన్ని యాప్‌ల్లో భద్రతాపరమైన లోపాలు ఉన్నట్లు తెలియజేసింది. ► ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే దేశీయ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ తయారీపై ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి పెట్టినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. విప్లవాత్మక ముందడుగు ఐఐటీ–మద్రాసు ఆధ్వర్యంలో స్థాపించిన జండ్‌ కే ఆపరేషన్స్‌ ప్రైవేట్‌ లిమిటెడ్(జండ్‌కాప్స్‌) అనే లాభాపేక్ష లేని స్టార్టప్‌ కంపెనీ భరోస్‌ ఓఎస్‌ను అభివృద్ధి చేసింది. ‘నేషనల్‌ మిషన్‌ ఆన్ ఇంటర్‌ డిసిప్లినరీ సైబర్‌ ఫిజికల్‌ సిస్టమ్స్‌’ కింద కేంద్ర సైన్స్‌ అండ్ టెక్నాలజీ శాఖ నిధులు అందజేసింది. నమ్మకం అనే పునాదిపై భరోస్‌ మొబైల్ ఆపరేటింగ్ వ్యవస్థను రూపొందించినట్లు ఐఐటీ–మద్రాస్‌ డైరెక్టర్‌ చెప్పారు. తమ అవసరాలను తీర్చే యాప్‌లను పొందే స్వేచ్ఛను వినియోగదారులకు కల్పించాలన్నదే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ఉద్దేశమని వివరించారు. దీనివల్ల సంబంధిత యాప్‌లపై వారికి తగిన నియంత్రణ ఉంటుందన్నారు. ఫోన్లలోని డేటా భద్రతకు భరోసా కల్పించే విషయంలో ఇదొక విప్లవాత్మకమైన ముందడుగు అని అభివర్ణించారు. మన దేశంలో ఈ ఓఎస్ వినియోగాన్ని పెంచేందుకు ప్రైవేట్‌ పరిశ్రమలు, ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలు, వ్యూహాత్మక సంస్థలు, టెలికాం సర్వీస్‌ ప్రొవైడర్లతో కలిసి పని చేస్తామని వివరించారు. – సాక్షి, నేషనల్‌ డెస్క్‌ -
సొంత ఓఎస్‌పై ప్రభుత్వ భారీ కసరత్తు: ఆండ్రాయిడ్, ఐఓఎస్ ఖేల్ ఖతం?
న్యూఢిల్లీ: దేశీయ మొబైల్ యూజర్లకు భారత ప్రభుత్వం గుడ్‌ న్యూస్ అందించనుందా? సొంతంగా ఒక దేశీయ మొబైల్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌ను రూపొందించి, వినియోగదారులకు మరింత సురక్షితమైన అనుభవాన్ని అందించే ప్రాజెక్ట్‌పై పని చేస్తోందని విశ్వసనీయంగా తెలుస్తోంది. దీనికి సంబంధించి ప్రభుత్వ అధికారిక ప్రకటనపై ఆసక్తి నెలకొంది. ఇండ్‌ ఓఎస్ పేరుతో తీసుకురానుంది. ప్రభుత్వం, స్టార్టప్‌లు , విద్యాసంస్థల చొరవతో దీన్ని రూపొందిస్తోంది. ఎపుడు, ఎలా లాంచ్ చేస్తుందనే దానిపై స్పష్టతేదు. ఇది యూజర్లకు ఒక కొత్త భారతీయ OS సురక్షితమైన అనుభవాన్ని అందించడమే కాకుండా Google, Appleకి దీటుగా గట్టి పోటీ ఇస్తుందని అంచనా. కాగా ప్రస్తుతం, గూగుల్ ఆండ్రాయిడ్ 97 శాతం వాటాతో టాప్‌లో తన ఆధిపత్యాన్ని చాటుకుంటుండగా, ఐఫోన్‌కోసం రూపొందించిన ఆపిల్ ఐఓఎస్ వాటా పరిమితంగానే ఉంది. మరోవైపు నోకియా, శాంసంగ్‌, బ్లాక్‌బెర్రీ నోకియా, మైక్రోసాప్ట్ ,ఫైర్‌ఫాక్స్‌ లాంటి దిగ్గజాల ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్స్‌ పెద్దగా ఆదరణకు నోచుకోలేకపోయాయి. ఈ క్రమంలో ఇండ్‌ఓఎస్‌ ఆవిష్కారంపై భారీ అంచనాలే ఉన్నాయి. -
వాట్సాప్ కీలక నిర్ణయం
శాన్ఫ్రాన్సిస్కో: మెసేజింగ్ దిగ్గజం వాట్సాప్ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఆండ్రాయిడ్ 2.3.7 ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్(ఓఎస్)తో పాటు ఐవోఎస్‌ 7 వాడే ఐఫోన్లకు 2020, ఫిబ్రవరి 1 నుంచి వాట్సాప్ సేవలు నిలిచిపోతాయని కంపెనీ తెలిపింది. దీనివల్ల పాత ఓఎస్‌లు ఉన్న మొబైల్ ఫోన్లలో కొత్త అకౌంట్లను తెరవలేరనీ, పాత అకౌంట్లను యాక్సెస్ చేయలేరని వెల్లడించింది. ‘2019, డిసెంబర్‌ 31 తర్వాత విండోస్ ఓఎస్ ఉన్న యూజర్లు వాట్సాప్‌ను వాడలేరు. ఈ ఏడాది జూలై 1 నుంచి మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ స్టోర్‌లో వాట్సాప్ అందుబాటులో ఉండదు’ అని పేర్కొంది. ఆండ్రాయిడ్ 4.0.3, ఐఓఎస్ 8 అంతకన్నా అప్‌డేటెడ్‌ వెర్షన్లు వాడాలని సూచించింది. వాట్సాప్ ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆండ్రాయిడ్ల ఫోన్ల కోసం 2.199.177 బీటా వెర్షన్‌ను తాజాగా విడుదల చేసింది. దీని ద్వారా చాటింగ్‌ చేస్తూనే పీఐపీ మోడ్‌లో వీడియోలను వీక్షించొచ్చు. అయితే బీటా వెర్షన్‌లో పీఐపీ మోడ్‌ ఇంకా టెస్టింగ్‌ స్టేజ్‌లోనే ఉంది. -
అమెరికాకు వావే షాక్‌!
బీజింగ్‌ : అమెరికా బెదిరింపులకు, ఆంక్షలకు ధీటుగా సమాధానం చెప్పిన చైనా మొబైల్ తయారీ దిగ్గజ సంస్థ వావే కీలక విషయాన్ని ప్రకటించింది. తన సొంత ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌ను తొందరలోనే లాంచ్ చేయనున్నామని గురువారం ప్రకటించింది. మమ్మల్ని తక్కువగా అంచని వేయొద్దని ప్రకటించిన వావే ఆండ్రాయిడ్‌కు ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా ‘హాంగ్మెంగ్’ పేరుతో కొత్త ఓఎస్‌ను లాంచ్ చేయనుంది. తద్వారా అమెరికా టెక్‌ దిగ్గజాలు గూగుల్, ఆపిల్‌కు పెద్ద షాక్‌ ఇస్తోంది. వావే ‘హాంగ్మెంగ్’ ఓఎస్ పరీక్షలు ఇప్పటికే పూర్తయ్యాయని, త్వరలోనే తన ఫోన్లలో ఆండ్రాయిడ్ స్థానంలో గ్లోబల్‌గా దీన్ని అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురానున్నామని వావే తెలిపింది. ఈ మేరకు వావే టెక్నాలజీస్ కో లిమిటెడ్ పబ్లిక్ ఎఫైర్స్ అండ్ కమ్యూనికేషన్స్ వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ ఆండ్రూ విలియమ్సన్ ఒక ఇంటర్వ్యూలో మాట్లాడుతూ, హాంగ్మెంగ్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టంను ఇప్పటికే చైనాలో మిలియన్‌కు పైగా స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్లలో అమలు చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. త్వరలోనే ట్రేడ్‌మార్క్‌ను సాధించనున్నామంటూ ధృవీకరించారు. గత నెలలో అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ వావేను బ్లాక్‌లిస్ట్‌లో పెట్టి, సంస్థ వ్యాపార లావాదేవీలను నిషేధించారు. శత్రు దేశాల నుంచి అమెరికా కంప్యూటర్ నెట్‌వర్క్‌కు ప్రమాదం పొంచి ఉందని, తద్వారా దేశ భద్రతకు ముప్పు వాటిల్లొచ్చని అందుకే ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రధానంగా చైనాకు చెందిన ప్రపంచపు అతిపెద్ద టెలికం కమ్యూనికేషన్స్ ఎక్విప్‌మెంట్ కంపెనీ వావే లక్ష్యంగా అమెరికా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. అయితే వావేకు అమెరికాలో కార్యకాలాపాల కొనసాగింపు కోసమంటూ అమెరికా వాణిజ్య శాఖ 90 రోజుల తాత్కాలిక లైసెన్స్ జారీ చేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే గూగుల్ వావేతో సంబంధాలు తెంచుకుంటున్నట్టు ప్రకటించింది. ఇటీవల ఫేస్బుక్ కూడా ఇదే బాటలో పయనించింది. ప్రస్తుతం అమెరికా కంపెనీలైన గూగుల్, ఆపిల్ కు చెందిన ఆండ్రాయిడ్, ఐఓఎస్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్స్‌ మార్కెట్‌ను ఏలుతున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. హువావే 2012 నుంచే సొంత ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌పై పనిచేస్తోందని ఇటీవల పలు నివేదికలు వెల్లడించాయి. తాజా ప్రకటనతో అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వంతో పాటు గూగుల్, ఆపిల్ కంపెనీలకు ఝలక్ ఇచ్చినట్టేనని టెక్‌ నిపుణులు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు. -

సెర్చింజిన్‌ దిగ్గజం గూగుల్‌కు ఐరోపా సమాఖ్య(ఈయూ) బుధవారం భారీ షాకిచ్చింది. మరోసారి భారీ మొత్తంలో 4.34 బిలియన్‌ యూరోలు(దాదాపు 5 బిలియన్‌ డాలర్లు) జరిమానా విధించింది. పోటీదారులను రానీయకుండా.. స్మార్ట్ఫోన్ యూజర్లు గూగుల్ యాప్స్‌నే వాడేలా అనుచిత విధానాలను గూగుల్ అనుసరిస్తుందనే ఆరోపణలతో ఈ జరిమానా వేసింది. యూరోపియన్‌, అమెరికన్‌ ప్రత్యర్థుల ఫిర్యాదులపై 2015 నుంచి విచారణ చేపట్టిన యూరప్‌, నేడు తన నిర్ణయాన్ని వెలువరించింది. గతేడాది కూడా గూగుల్ భారీ మొత్తంలో 2.8 బిలియన్‌ డాలర్ల( రూ.17,478 కోట్లకు పైగా) జరిమానాను ఎదుర్కొంది. అప్పుడు తన షాపింగ్‌ సర్వీసులకు అనుకూలంగా యాంటీ ట్రస్ట్‌ నిబంధనలను అది ఉల్లంఘించడంతో, జరిమానా పడింది. ఈ సెర్చింజిన్‌ దిగ్గజం గూగుల్‌తో పాటు, ఆపిల్, అమెజాన్‌, ఫేస్బుక్ లకు కూడా యూరోపియన్‌ రెగ్యులేటర్లు జరిమానాలు విధించాయి. గూగుల్ ప్రస్తుతం యాంటీ ట్రస్ట్‌ నిబంధనలను ఉల్లంఘించి, డివైజ్ విక్రయించడాని కంటే ముందస్తుగా స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్లలో తన యాప్స్‌ను ఇన్స్టాల్ చేస్తుందని కమిషన్‌ ఆరోపించింది. తన ఆండ్రాయిడ్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌లో ప్రత్యామ్నాయాలను వాడకుండా నిరోధించేలా తయారీదారులతో ముందస్తుగానే గూగుల్ సంప్రదింపులు జరిపిందని రెగ్యులేటర్లు ఆరోపిస్తున్నాయి. తన వ్యాపార ధోరణిని మార్చుకోవాలని గూగుల్‌ను యూరోపియన్‌ యూనియన్‌ ఆదేశించింది. -
ఆ మొబైళ్లకు పుష్‌ నోటిఫికేషన్స్ బంద్
శాన్ఫ్రాన్సిస్కో: విండోస్ ఫోన్ 7.5, విండోస్ ఫోన్ 8.0 ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌తో నడిచే మొబైళ్లకు పుష్‌ నోటిఫికేషన్లను నిలిపివేస్తున్నట్లు మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ మంగళవారం తెలిపింది. ఈ మేరకు తన బ్లాగ్‌లో పేర్కొంది. ఒకసారి మద్ధతు నిలిపివేస్తే ఈ వర్షన్లతో నడుస్తున్న మొబైళ్లకు కంపెనీ నుంచి ఎలాంటి పుష్‌ నోటిఫికేషన్లు రావు, ‘ఫైండ్‌ మై ఫోన్’ ఫీచర్ కూడా పనిచేయదు. విండోస్ 8.1, విండోస్ 10 మొబైళ్లకు మాత్రం పుష్‌ నోటిఫికేషన్లు అందుతూనే ఉంటాయన్నారు. -

ఇప్పటికీ సొంతంగా తనకంటూ ఓ ఓఎస్ (ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్)ను రూపొందించుకోనందుకు చైనా ఈర్ష్య పడుతూ ఉండవచ్చు. గత 15 ఏళ్లుగా దేశీయ ఓఎస్‌ను రూపొందించుకునేందుకు చైనా నానా తంటాలు పడుతూనే ఉంది. ఓఎస్ టెక్నాలజీ విషయంలో పాశ్చాత్య దేశాల ఆధిపత్యం నుంచి తప్పించుకోవాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తోంది. కానీ, ఆ ప్రయత్నం ఇప్పటివరకు సఫలీకృతం కాలేదు. కానీ, భారత్‌ మాత్రం రెండేళ్ల కిందటే ఆ ఘనతను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇండస్‌ ఓఎస్.. ఇప్పుడు భారత్‌లో మొబైల్ ఫోన్లు అత్యధికంగా వాడుకుంటున్న మొబైల్ బేస్డ్‌ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్‌లలో రెండోస్థానంలో ఉంది. ఆల్ఫాబెట్‌ అండ్రాయిడ్‌ తర్వాత 6.3శాతం మార్కెట్‌ వాటాతో రెండోస్థానంలో ఇండస్‌ ఓఎస్ ఉంది. స్థానిక భారతీయ భాషలలో రూపొందిన ఈ ఓఎస్ 2015 సంవత్సరం ముగిసేనాటికి రెండోస్థానాన్ని ఆక్రమించి.. ప్రస్తుత సంవత్సరంలోనూ ఆ స్థానాన్ని నిలబెట్టుకుంది. ఈ వారమే విడుదలైన కౌంటర్ పాయింట రీసెర్చ్‌ నివేదిక ఈ వివరాలను వెల్లడించింది. ఐవోఎస్‌తోపాటు షియోమి, ఎంఐయూఐ, సియానోజెన్‌ వంటి ఆండ్రాయిడ్ వెరియంట్లు కూడా ఇండస్‌ ఓఎస్‌ను వాడుతున్నాయి. చైనా సొంతంగా ఓఎస్ రూపొందించుకునే క్రమంలో చైనా ఓఎస్ (సీఓఎస్‌), కిలిన్‌, రెడ్‌ ఫ్లాగ్‌, యున్‌ఓఎస్‌ వంటి ప్రయోగాలు చేసినప్పటికీ అవి అంతగా విజయవంతం కాలేదు. చైనా ప్రభుత్వం, పలు ప్రైవేటు కంపెనీలు ఈ విషయంలో ప్రోత్సాహం అందించినా అనుకున్న లక్ష్యాన్ని అది సాధించలేదు. వాస్తవంగా ఫస్ట్‌టచ్‌ పేరిట రూపొందించిన ఇండస్‌ ఓస్‌ 2015లో సంచలనం సృష్టించింది. ఈ ఓఎస్‌ను వాడుకోవడానికి మైక్రోమాక్స్‌ కంపెనీ ముందుకురావడం దీనికి పెద్ద ఊతంగా నిలిచింది. స్థానిక డిమాండ్లను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని ఈ ఓఎస్ రూపొందడంతో ఇది బాగా ఆదరణ పొందింది. టైపింగ్‌ సౌలభ్యకరంగా ఉండటం, టైపింగ్‌లో ప్రాంతీయ భాషల పదాల ప్రిడిక‌్షన్‌ సరిగ్గా ఉండటం ఈ ఓఎస్ కు కలిసివొచ్చే అంశం. ఇది ఓఎస్ విషయంలో ఐఫోన్‌ ఆపరేటింట్‌ సిస్టమ్ అయిన ఐఓఎస్‌ను దేశీయంగా అధిగమించింది. యాప్‌ బజార్‌ వంటి యాప్‌లతో మరిన్ని ఆర్థిక సేవలు అందించేందుకు ఈ ఓఎస్ సిద్ధమవుతోంది. ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ పిలుపునిచ్చిన ’మేకిన్‌ ఇండియా’కు ఈ ఓఎస్ రూపకల్పన పెద్ద ఊతమిచ్చే అంశమని నిపుణులు చెప్తున్నారు. -
